P1: Explain the personal attributes valued by employers (2x
Attributes)
The first personal attribute that is valued by employers is
Concentration. Concentration is valued by employers because it is essential to
getting every single piece of work done that is thrown at you, for example in
the gaming industry if you are not concentrating you could cost the company a
lot of money and you could get fired. Concentration is also vital to the
quality to the product, if you are not concentrating the quality of the product
decreases as you are not putting 100% into your work.
The second personal attribute that is valued by employers is
punctuality. Punctuality is valued by employers because it is vital that you
turn up on time to a job and get the work done rather than turn up late and not
bothering to do any work at all. This can also establish trust between the
worker and employer as if you turn up at the right time every day, you can be
trusted to be promoted and have a higher position in the company. If you do not
have punctuality in the gaming industry it could mess up a whole game, for
example if the textures are not done but everything else is you need to spend
extra time on textures when it could have been done already.
The third attribute that is valued by employers is Written skills. Written skills are valued by employers because is it is essential that the employers can understand the work you are giving to them, if they can not understand or misread this could lead to failures in your areas of work. if you do not have Written Skills in the gaming industry it could lead to a game going off in the wrong direction, (wrong type of character personality etc.)
